	As you enter the graveyard there is a cross-shaped monument to your right. The inscription reads- I will never leave thee nor forsake thee This cross was placed here by a friend. Sacred to the memory of Jenny Jones born in Scotland June 1789 died at Tal-yLlyn April 11 1884. She was with her husband of the 23rd Royal Welch Fusiliers at the battle of Waterloo and was on the field 3 days.
	In the porch entrance to the church is a plaque which reads - Charities to be distributed among paupers in the Parish of Tal-y-Llyn The Rev'd John Owen from Ty-n-Ceunant to be paid £20-0-0 Mrs Elizabeth Edwards from Mr Edward C Owen~~~ £5-0-0 Mrs Catherine ych Hugh from Maesy Pandy } Dolgoed, and Hengae equally }~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~£40-0-0 Mr John Arthur from Parish Officers ~~~~~~~~~~~~ £20-0-0 Mr Hugh Pugh, Ty-n-Cornell from Parish Officers ~~~ £20-0-0 This stone was erected in the year of our Lord 1837 And in the 7th year of the reign of King William IV J.
