	St. Drostan's Parish Church Elphin \street New Aberdour AB43 6LH Aberdeenshire GPS Location - N57°39'36.24" W2°11'38.37" Erected in 1818 to replace the old Kirk at Aberdour
	Date stone above front entrance says 1885. I never did fathom out the discrepancy between the stone and the churches history, which says it was erected in 1818.
	Inside the church A tale told to me was that an elderly gentleman, a member of the congregation, used to sit in the bottom left (in Photo) corner of the balcony where he could see everybody in church. If any child did not pay attention during the service he would point at them...... Apparently the preacher had a very attentive congregation.
